CarePortal provides the church with the ability to connect with and care for children and families who are in need within our own communities. The technology platform of Care Portal, allows care workers to vet needs for families, share the purpose of the need and then connect the church to that need. Care Portal gives us an on ramp into the lives of our neighbors and opens the ability to care and connect with them. We experience hope by moving beyond benevolence to real connection, which is what the partnership of Care Portal and the response team intends to do. When you choose to respond to a need, you are welcomed into the opportunity to be the person that becomes the real connection. We are also capable of entering inner church needs which have been vetted by ministry leaders, allowing the response team to care for the fellow church.

Signing up for Care Portal is fairly simple, with just a few steps.

Visit the Blue Ridge Care Portal Response Page.

  1. Click the orange button Sign Up to Help/Login at the top of the page.
  2. Enter your email address.
  3. Complete the sign up for care portal page.

Once you have completed these steps, you will receive a confirmation email, then more instructions from a ministry lead. Please follow any directions.

As a responder, if you have a care need, or you would like to submit a need for someone you know, please email careportal@blueridge.org. In this email, please include your name (first and last), contact information, and the details of the need you are submitting.
