Safe Families for Children is a network of families who volunteer to care for parents and children in need. Their goal is to keep families intact and support them however possible. Ultimately, through a community providing resources and support, all parties work toward creating a stable and healthy environment to reunite families as soon as possible.

Bedford Christian Ministries (BCM) provides assistance with food, clothing, household items, and finances to seniors, disabled and low-income residents of Bedford County. Their all-volunteer staff exemplifies their commitment to serving the Lord by serving their neighbors in need.
BCM is open Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays, and is in need of volunteers to help clients get back on their feet by providing food and other necessities, as well as help with budgeting and life skills. During the current time of social distancing, BCM volunteers are only providing food delivery to their clients in Bedford. This is a great opportunity to connect with those who are not able to leave their homes.
